Back after a hiatus with a poem on my favourite subject of all time - LIFE!!

Life's like that!!!

A winding road or an uphill climb;
Obstacles or surprises, known or blind;
Grass or rocks, soft or stony,
Life's like that, an adventurous journey! 

Crests and troughs, ripples and waves;
Highs and lows, nights and days;
Wings and shackles, joys and troubles;
Life's like that, a complete circle!

Plus or minus, debit or credit;
Right or wrong, money or merit;
Here or there, right or left;
Life's like that, a constant test!

Hit or miss, win or loss;
Gathering speed or gathering moss;
Race or goal, game or catch;
Life's like that, a funfilled match!

Avenues and landscapes, paths and caves;
People and creatures, emotions and palates;
Logic and magic, real and reverie;
Life's like that, a voyage of discovery!

Yesterdays and tomorrows, wishes and hopes;
Fear and delight, anticipation and remorse;
Memories and visions, plans and schemes;
Life's like that, an ongoing dream!

Sugar or mint, pepper or salt
Spices and condiments, sweet and hot;
Dry curry or bubbling merry
Life's like that, a fragrant potpourri! 

An adventurous journey, a circle complete;
A constant test or a funfilled match;
A voyage of discovery, an ongoing dream;
Life's a potpourri of all of these!!!
